Barony House is a lovely terraced house where you can be sure of a warm welcome.
Looking for accommodation in Edinburgh for a vacation or a short spring or winter break, then let us help you. We are here to offer you a personal, friendly service to make sure you enjoy your stay with us.
Barony House can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people at any one time and we regularly greet single guests on business, couples and families on holiday and whole parties in Edinburgh for weddings and functions, kilts and all!
Edinburgh Accommodations:
Barony House has a range of accommodation to suit your needs, from single to American king-size beds, through to family rooms. Each have central heating, colour TV, tea and coffee making facility, hairdryer etc. Cots and hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows can be provided. All our rooms are well decorated and furnished and all but one have en-suite toilet and shower. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
Guest House Services:
Barony House offers many services to make your stay in Edinburgh as easy as possible. For example: laundry service if required; ironing facility; use of fax machine; tourist information; high-chairs and more (a minimal fee may apply for some of the above).
Free wireless internet access and a PC for guest use. Telephone in your room.
Breakfast:
Your host, Susie's primary hobby is cooking and Barony House guests can expect a real Scottish breakfast every morning. There is no better start to the day that sitting in our elegant Victorian dining room and sampling our delicious breakfast choice.
Begin with a steaming bowl of porridge made in the traditional scottish manner or a variety of fresh fruits or juices.
There are always freshly baked croissants, rolls, muffins and bagels available, also a variety of cereals, yogurts cheeses and cold meats.
Then after this taster, throw yourself into the serious matter of choosing from our hot food buffet. Succulent sausages, crispy bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes then add some tasty haggis and black pudding. We will also cook you fresh organic eggs anyway you want them.
Susie and her husband Leonard, have a wide knowledge of local Edinburgh restaurants and eateries, theatres, leisure facilities and places of interest and will gladly help you plan a memorable stay in Scotland.
Naturally, there is tea and she only serves freshly ground coffee. Special dietary requirements are also catered for.

Guest House Location:
Our B&B is close to Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, the historic New Town, Princes Street and the Royal Mile. It is handy for the many venues during Edinburgh Festival and Fringe and also Edinburgh's military tattoo.
