The Barry House is a London B&B hotel offering family friendly accommodation in central London, close to Hyde Park, Marble Arch and many of London's famous sights. Owned and run by the Bhasin family, we pride ourselves on offering a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors seeking a comfortable base for their visit to London.
Barry House has been rated by VisitBritain as Three Star Guest Accommodation, but is offering many of the services of a hotel. Member of the AA and a VisitLondon partner.
Barry House was built in 1839 as a Victorian Town House on the Hyde Park estate, a stones throw away from the famous park. The Hotel backs on to Bathurst Mews the home of the Hyde Park Riding Stables from where guests can take a ride on the famous "Rotton Row" in the Park.
Barry House has single, double, twin and family rooms, most of the rooms have compact en suite shower/toilet facilities. Every bedroom also has colour TV with satellite channels, Direct Dial Telephones and tea/coffee facilities.
Guests may enjoy a Traditional English Breakfast served in our dining room, the price of which is included in our reasonable Tariff.
Within Walking distance is the shoppers paradise of Oxford Street and Bond Street and attractions such as Madame Tussaud's and for the more serious the museums of South Kensington. There are 2 underground stations within 3 minutes walk which provide efficient Subway transport to all parts of London and also Paddington Main Line Station - direct train link to Heathrow airport and train services to the West of England and Wales, places such as Stratford and Oxford.
