Historic Bed and Breakfast Renovated to the Highest Standards.
A medieval farmstead in a magical setting. Everyone who's been here remembers the first time they saw Elvey Farm. It's at the end of a twisting, winding little lane, nestled amongst 75 acres of farmland. As far as the eye can see, there are fields, orchards and hills, with the church spire in the distance.
There's a real sense of history here. The Hall House has been around since the Middle Ages, and the Stable Block, where you will be staying, has been at the heart of the farm for centuries.
Whether you're sipping champagne on the verandah outside your suite, or you're riding your own horse through our excellent bridleways, you'll be surrounded by the quietest, the prettiest and the most idyllic countryside in Kent.
But this is no ordinary farmyard. Elvey has been renovated to the highest standards. Expect brand new contemporary bathrooms, fully renovated rooms with every comfort, and friendly, personal service.
Elvey Farm has recently been awarded four stars from Quality in Tourism.
In January 2007, owners Jeff Moody and Simon Peek bought the property, along with six acres - and have renovated the guest accommodation, to provide stylish, high-quality living.
Elvey Farm is a traditional open hall house, built in 1430. It's in the hamlet of Mundy Bois, just outside Pluckley, near Ashford. William and Robert Monde lived here in 1327, and "bois" comes from the French word for "wood". The farm itself is set in 75 acres, which are still being farmed for cereal crops and sheep.

So at Elvey, the sausages and bacon are from local pigs, the eggs from our own hens - and the potatoes and tomatoes (when in season) are from our own gardens. So enjoy your breakfast with us!
