The Garth is a small, privately owned hotel, in the centre of London. (Bloomsbury)
The building is grade II listed, 18th century, Georgian town house of historical interest. It was the birthplace in 1839 of William De Morgan the famous poet and novelist.
We pride ourselves on the warm and friendly atmosphere at the Garth, and have established a reputation for our hospitality, which has brought back the same guests year after year. We will do our best to make sure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
The rooms and public areas are decorated with numerous paintings, photographs and prints to create an art gallery effect.
We are at present creating a Mediterranean garden (containing many unusual semi-tropical plants and palms) for the use of the hotel guests.
Hotel Accommodations:
The 17 bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished, have central heating, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities mostly ensuite, some with shower only.
Family rooms are available accommodating up to 4 people. The rooms have a peaceful atmosphere and are clean and comfortable.
Hotel Location:
The hotel is very central, within a short stroll of Oxford Street, Covent Garden, The British Museum, Soho, Theatreland, London University etc. Also close by is The National Gallery & Regents Park with London Zoo. There are many other Museums & Art Galleries nearby and within a short bus ride are Sotheby's and Christies the famous auctioneers, also Portobello Road and Camden Passage for those interested in Antiques and Fine Art.

Prices are per person per night, bed and breakfast accommodation, taxes included.
Cancellation policy: In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your reservation before your arrival, there is no charge by Garth Hotel provided they receive notification more than 72 hours before your date of arrival.
Cancellation with less than 72 hours notice will incur a charge equivalent to one nights stay from Garth Hotel. Non-arrival without cancellation ('no show') will incur an additional charge. Guests wishing to check-out earlier than scheduled should provide at least 24 hours notice, otherwise a cancellation charge will be made.
Guests must ensure that they receive written confirmation of their cancellation from Garth Hotel.
