The Holly Tree Hotel is stunningly situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe. All bedrooms and public rooms enjoy spectacular views over the water to the mountains of Morvern and beyond.
Widely known for its friendly atmosphere, The Holly Tree is a haven for quiet relaxation and enjoyment. Kentallen is a small loch-side village between Oban and Fort William and is the ideal base for touring the Western Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
Created from a railway station at the turn of the century in the Glasgow Art Nouveau style the hotel has been carefully enlarged in a very comfortable but relaxed manner whilst retaining many features of the original building.
The Holly Tree is a small family run hotel, with 10 bedrooms, where personal attention and the comfort of our guests is our first priority. The grounds extend for a mile along the shore and include a private pier and slipway.
All of our bedrooms are extremely spacious and enjoy spectacular uninterrupted views over Loch Linnhe to the Mountains of Morvern and beyond.
Every bedroom is equipped to a very high standard and includes:

The Lochview Restaurant, described by many as the finest in the Highlands, has a glass wall facing the Loch where you may sit and watch the sun go down beyond the mountains in the west.
The Holly Tree has long had a reputation for superior perfectly prepared food. Our extensive A La Carte dinner menu makes excellent use of local beef, game and wonderful local seafood and shellfish, served in season with herbs and salads from our own garden.
The fine food is well complemented by a fantastic wine list full of variation which is extremely reasonably priced.
A real log fire, which is often lit and kept stoked by our guests, in the centre of the restaurant is the finishing touch to the ambience and ensures the absolute eating experience.
