This 17th century former coaching house holds a commanding position on top of Rodborough Common, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The inn has recently undergone a careful and precise restoration, yet many of its past features, such as the original archway entrance, have been retained.

The Grizzly Bar, popular with the locals, is renowned for its large selection of traditional beers. Elegantly furnished, the restaurant is enhanced by the ceiling beams with a unique bear design.
