Leisure Activities:
Fishing - For the fisherman Gardenstown has lots to offer. You can fish from the harbour wall or from the beach. Sea fishing is available in Mcduff as is river fishing on the river Deveron.
Golf - Golfing is as much a part of Scotland as is haggis and good whisky. Gardenstown is just twenty minutes away from two superb golf courses, Duff House Royal Golf Club is situated in Macduff and boasts excellent golfing for both the serious golfer and the less experienced. Royal Tarlair golf club has a cliff top parkland course with its own unique challenges and panaramic views of the Moray Firth.
Scotch Whiskey Trail - The Scotch Whisky trail can be joined in nearby Speyside which is home to more than half of Scotlands famous distilleries. Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, Strathisla, Cardhu and Glen Grant are but a few of the treasurse waiting to be discovered and tasted in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Rising from the waters edge, the village of Gardenstown is built into sandstone cliffs with panoramic views of Gamrie bay. Take an evening stroll, picnic on the beach or paddle in the sea, the choice is yours. For the less energetic, there is always the local public house serving evening meals or a relaxing drink. Children welcome.
Gardenstown is a good place to spot the famous Moray Firth dolphins as they swim across the bay. Sea birds, sea otters and even playful seals can be viewed from the front garden.Take your binoculars on holiday as there is always plenty of wildlife to be seen.
As well as Dolphins and Seals, Gardenstown harbour is also home to local pleasure craft and small fishing boats. Lobsterpots and fishermen abound by the quay side. Fishing rods recommended!!
